What vaccinations are required?
Core vaccinations (often already part of standard puppy/adult vaccination schedules.

Kennel Cough (Bordetella)
Because kennels are enclosed spaces and dogs are in closer contact, kennel cough (highly contagious respiratory infection) is a risk. We do require a vaccine against kennel cough be administered at least 3 weeks before the dog’s stay so that immunity is effective.

Benefits of Bringing Your Own Dog’s Food:

Prevents stomach upset: A sudden change in diet can cause digestive issues (vomiting, diarrhoea, etc.).

Keeps routine consistent: Your dog will feel more comfortable eating what they're used to.

Accommodates special diets: If your dog has allergies, sensitivities, or is on a vet-prescribed diet, it's essential to bring their food.

We may refuse to accept pets with serious medical conditions that require intensive or risky care.

Always discuss your pet’s needs in advance, especially for conditions like diabetes, epilepsy, or recent surgery.
What happens if my pet gets sick or injured during their stay?

At our kennel, your pet's health and safety are our top priority. If your dog or cat becomes unwell or is injured during their stay, we take immediate action to ensure they receive the care they need.
Here's What We Do:

Immediate Assessment:
Our trained staff will closely monitor your pet and respond quickly to any signs of illness or injury. -
Contacting You:
We will contact you (or your emergency contact) right away to explain the situation and discuss next steps. -
Veterinary Care:

If urgent, we will take your pet to your nominated vet, or to our on-call veterinary clinic if yours is unavailable.

In an emergency, we will act in your pet's best interest without delay, even if we cannot reach you immediately.

Costs:
Any veterinary costs incurred during your pet’s stay will be the owner’s responsibility and must be settled at pick-up (or directly with the vet, depending on the clinic). -
Medication or Special Care:
If your pet needs medication or additional care following treatment, we will follow your vet’s instructions to ensure their recovery continues smoothly.
How much does boarding cost?
From €18 per night per single dog/cat min 2 night stay

From €25 per night for 2 dogs/cats sharing from the same family min 2 night stay

1 night stays available subject to availability from €25 per night.

Are there breed or size restrictions?
Breed Policy
We truly love and care for all animals, and we welcome a wide range of breeds at our kennels. However, for safety and insurance reasons, we are currently unable to accommodate German Shepherds or XL Bullies.
We understand this may be disappointing, and we hope for your understanding as we prioritise the well-being of all pets and staff in our care.
